i write short fiction, poetry, essays, and cultural criticism.
my interest is mainly in deeply researched work blending personal experience, psychoanalysis, and (sub-)cultural touchstones.
lately, i’ve been writing about desire and transmasculinity, self-knowledge, and understandings that take place across large spans of distance and time. i’m interested in how histories are used to construct the present.
